Privacy Policy – Ignite Browser Validator Helper

This Chrome extension was developed by Ignite Centre for eLearning for the single purpose of confirming that a student’s Chrome browser profile is managed by the school and has required extensions installed.

What the extension does

• Runs only on the Ignite Centre /check page (spark.ignitecentre.ca/check).
• Sends a simple signal (“I am installed”) to that page.
• Does not log, record, or transmit any personal data.
• Does not monitor browsing activity, keystrokes, mouse movements, or network usage.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data.

Permissions

• Host permissions are required only to allow the script to run on the Ignite Centre validation page.
• No other sites are accessed or modified.
